Egypt condemns St. Petersburg terrorist attack in the strongest terms

 The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned, in the strongest terms, in a statement released by the Foreign Ministry today December 28th, the terrorist attack that occurred against a store injuring 13 individuals.

The statement expressed that both the Egyptian people and government stand by the friendly Russian people and government in the face of terrorism. It, also, wished the injured a quick recovery. The statement renewed Egypt’s call for the need to unite international efforts to face terrorism and drain its sources of funding, in addition to abstaining from providing safe haven to its elements. It, further, emphasized the importance of combating this phenomenon from a comprehensive perspective
