On December 27th, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Head of the General Intelligence Service Major General Abbas Kamel head to the Sudanese capital Khartoum to participate in the second quadripartite meeting between the foreign ministers and intelligence chiefs of Egypt and Sudan.
Official MFA Spokesperson Counselor Ahmed Hafez stated that the visit is, also, expected to witness a bilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of both countries. He noted that these meetings come in the framework of continued communication between the two sides on all levels, in light of the leadership directives in both countries to support bilateral relations and develop them on all fronts.
The MFA Spokesperson, further, noted that these meetings will address all aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, as well as, follow-up on the execution of the outcomes of the Joint Presidential Egyptian-Sudanese Committee co-chaired by Presidents Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Omar al-Basheer in October 2018, in order to reinforce bilateral relations between the two countries to wider prospects to meet the aspirations of the peoples of the two brotherly nations.
