Consul General, Ambassador Afifi Abdel Wehab, visited the regional Princes where he emphasized the importance of the Egyptian-Saudi relations and the Princes’ support for the Consulate in carrying out its mission in protecting the interests of Egyptians in Saudi Arabia. The Consul’s visit comes in light of Egypt’s constant keenness on reinforcing ties of friendship and cordiality between the Egyptian General Consulate in Jeddah and the Saudi officials within the scope of the Consulate’s work. The Princes stressed their interest in taking care of all Egyptian citizens and treating them just like the Saudi citizens, and in seeking to overcome any obstacles impeding the Consulate’s work and promptly solving any problems which might face Egyptians residing in the Western and Southern regions.
