According to the Egyptian keenness to deep its relation with the African Brothers, and to activate the activity of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, Foreign Minster, Ahmed Aboul Gheit directed Ambassador Neven Ashmawi, Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, to conduct a tour that included Malawi, Congo Brazzaville, and Mozambique, during the period from 18 to 31 March  2008,

Within the framework of the continuous tours to different African countries,  under the directives of the Foreign Minister to get acquainted with their needs and to define the best means to fulfil their needs, Ambassador Neven Ashmawi stated before her departure that this tour is going to include intensive meeting with the officials in the above mentioned countries, in various fields, the most important of which are, health and education, in addition to the technical training in different fields such as: the diplomatic, judicial, security, agricultural, irrigation, and health fields, to value the role of the fund in supporting the human, and technical, and institutional abilities for the sons of those countries, and to support the relations with such countries through peoples and governments.

Ambassador Neven Ashmawi added that her tour is going to include meetings with the Egyptian experts delegated to those countries to discuss the means of benefiting from the distinct human resources in improving the work of the sectors they are delegated to in those countries.
