2 June ,2008… The Egyptian ambassador in DarEl Salam,  Ambassador Wael Nasr delivered the food assistance package offered by  Egypt to Tanzania through the Egyptian Fund for Technical cooperation with Africa to Tanzania , within the framework of the friendly relations between Egypt and African Countries. Minister of Defence and National service, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi received the Egyptian food assistance package, on behalf of the Tanzanian Government, and thanked the Government and people of Egypt for their  constant support to his country. Several Tanzanian institutions will benefit from the package including the Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture and food security . Ministry of Defence and National Service , and the Islamic Center in Temeke .
