Enhancing the humanitarian aspect in the Egyptian Foreign policy, and its belief in the necessity of helping African countries to face the crises of wars and lack of food, Foreign Minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit instructed  the Fund to offer  logistic assistance to Burkina Faso consisting  of medical equipment, 135 wheelchairs and radiograph in view of the country's dire need  for such equipments during  this period to face  the floods that struck the country recently, which have caused the emigration or displacement of  large numbers of the population. Egypt is also keen to boost relief efforts and stand by the people of this African country in the current period.
