Stemming from the Egyptian policy awareness of the importance of supporting and developing human potentials in Africa, in all fields, as a main pillar for achieving sustainable development, Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, Ambassador Tarek Ghoneim, stated that in cooperation with the Ministry’s Diplomatic Institute, the Fund is currently organizing a training course in the field of diplomacy in English and French languages. The courses aim at improving African diplomat’s caliber in international law, economy, environment, and negotiations fields. A judicial course is also being organized, in cooperation with the Judicial Studies Center, affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Justice.
Ambassador Ghoneim added that Foreign Minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit instructed the Fund to participate in financially supporting the Pan African Urological Surgeons’ Association (PAUSA) in order to organize a workshop in Urological Surgery during the coming month in Alexandria, which would assist in improving the professionalism of African doctors, as well as getting acquainted with the new technologies in this field. |
