Training courses organized by the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the Commonwealth during July 2006

1- Republic of Albania:

The Fund offered two training courses to Albanian trainees, one in the field of police work for 26 trainees, at the Police Academy, in the period from 6 July to 3 August 2006. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary, Ehab Hamouda, and the closing ceremony was attended by the Fund’s Secretary-General, where decorations of excellence of the second order were given to 3 trainees, and the future strategy of the fund was reviewed.

The second training course was offered to 15 trainees, in the field of law and arbitration, at the Asian Studies Center, in the period from 21 July to 4 August 2006. The opening and closing ceremonies were attended by the Fund’s Secretary-General. Such courses are highly appreciated by the Albanian side, as Egypt and Albania enjoy strong and historical relations.

 2- Republic of Georgia:

The Fund offered a training course in police work for 25 trainees, at the Police Academy, in the period from 6 July to 3 August 2006. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary, Ehab Hamouda, while the closing ceremony was attended by the Fund’s Secretary-General, where decorations of excellence of the second order were given to the trainees.

3- Republic of Moldova:

The Fund offered two training courses, the first in the field of information technology, for 15 trainees at the National Research Center, in the period from 14 to 28 July 2006. The opening ceremony was attended by the Fund’s Secretary-General while the closing ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda.

The Fund offered another training course for 10 trainees in the field of Arab culture, and was held at the Arabic Language Center, Cairo University, in the period from 14 to 28 July 2006. The closing ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda.

4- Republic of Azerbaijan:

The Fund offered a training course in the field of diplomacy for 13 trainees at the Leaders Preparation Center during the period from 14 to 26 July 2006. The closing ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda.

5- Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

The Fund offered a training course in police work, for 24 trainees at the Police Academy in the period from 5 July to 3 August 2006. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda, while the closing ceremony was attended by the Fund’s Secretary General, where decorations of excellence of the second order were handed out.

6- Republic of Mongolia:

The Fund offered a training course in the field of Arabic culture, for 16 trainees, at the Arabic Language Center, Cairo University, during the period from 16 July to 28 July 2006. The closing ceremony was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda, who handed out the certificates to the graduates.

7- Kyrgyz Republic:

The Fund offered a training course in the field of Agriculture, for 12 trainees, at the National Research Center, in the period from 18 to 29 July 2006. The opening and closing ceremonies were attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Ehab Hamouda, where he handed out the certificates to the graduates.
