First: training Courses:

The General- Secretariat of the fund organized seven training courses in various fields, during March 2008, including:

 

-          A training course in the field of Banks for 14 trainees from Georgia, during the period from 2/3/2008 to 14/3/2008.

-          A training course in the field of police "combating international terrorism" for 21 trainees from Kazakhstan, during the period from 2/3/2008 to 29/3/2008.

-          A training course in the field of police "combating illegal drugs smuggling" for 25 trainees from Albania, during the period from 5/3/2008 to 2/4/2008.

-          A training course in the field of "international law and arbitration" for 15 trainees from Albania, during the period from 5/3/2008 to 21/3/2008.

-          A training course in the field of "information technology" for 14 trainees from Kyrgyzstan, during the period from 16/3/2008 to 31/3/2008.

-          A training course in the field of "agricultural" for 15 trainees from Turkmenistan, during the period from 21/3/2008 to 6/4/2008, (in cooperation with the Islamic Bank for Development).

-          A training course in the field of "hotels" for 14 trainees from Azerbaijan, during the period from 24/3/2008 to 6/4/2008.

Secretary General of the Fund Ambassador/ Safeya Ibrahim Amin, inaugurated these courses and will participate in their closing ceremonies in the various training locations according to the indicated schedules.

Second: other Activities:

·         The Secretariat General of the Fund undertook the traveling expenses to Cairo of 2 professors in Tashkent University, to collect scientific information on Egypt to benefit the Uzbek students, and to enlarge the data base on Egypt.

 

1.      Dr./ Nazm Abedof, researcher for the Ph.D degree researcher , at the University of Oriental Studies, in Tashkent.

2.      Dr./ Mokhlesa Deyaaa Aldenova, professor of the Arabic Literature,  at  the University of Oriental Studies.

·         The fund presented a computer to the Arab Language Section, at the Facuty of Arts at  Tblissi University,  in Georgia, via the Egyptian Embassy in Yerevan

·         The General Secretariat participated in undertaking the expenses of renting a hall to show the Film of "Al-Maseer", "Destiny",  within the framework of the Egyptian participation in the Celebrations of Frank phone date,  in Bosnia and Herzegovina, via the Egyptian Embassy in Sarajevo.
