The General Secretariat of the Egyptian Fund for Technical cooperation with the Commonwealth organised 7 training sessions in various fields §  A training session in the field of tourism for 12 trainees from Uzbekistan from 29/4/2008 to 13/5/2008 at the National research institute. §  A training session in the field of culture for 15 trainees from Moldova from 5/5 to 21/5/2008 at the OUDA Centre. §  A training session for 15 trainees from Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Islamic Bank for Development during the period from 5/5 to 20/5/2008 at the National research institute. §  A training session in the field of police activities "investigation at the Crime scene" for 25 trainees from Albania during the period from 8/5 to 6/4/2008 at the police research centre. §  A training session for 16 Orientalists from Georgia during the period from 11/5 to 25/5/2008 at the Arab language centre at Cairo, University. §  A training session in the field of illegal immigration for 25 Armenian trainees during the period from 15/7/2008 from 12/6/2008 at the police research institute. §  A training session in the field of Banking and money laundering for 15 trainees from Albania during the period from 20/5/2008 to 3/6/2008 at the Banking institute. The Secretary General, Ambassador Safia Ibrahim inaugurated these sessions and will participate in the closing ceremony at the different training locations according to the indicated periods. Second: Other activities §  The Secretariat General provided a financial contribution for 1510 Dollars to buy some needs for the Children's village at Mostar Sarajevo. §  The Secretariat provided 500 Dollars to buy some books required for the Headquarters of the highest Islamic Authority at Mostar. §  The Secretariat provided 500 Dollar in contribution to a documentary film about Egypt. §  The Secretariat provided 2560 Dollars to buy educational materials and equipments  for the Teacher's university in Tashkent (Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute, Tashkent)
