The General Secretariat of the Egyptian Fund for Technical cooperation with the Commonwealth in February and March organised 3 training sessions in the fields of Agriculture at the Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA), as follows: 1. A training session in the field of cultivating cold resistant plants and trees in desert and semi desert regions for 15 Mongolian cadres from 14th February 2008 to 28 th February 2008. 2. A session in the field of fruit cultivation technology and vegetable production for 15 Albanian cadres during the period from 22 February 2008 until 7 March 2008. 3. A training session in the field of using modern technology methods in Agriculture for 15 cadres from Turkmenistan during the period from 21st March 2008 to 4th April 2008. This session was organised in coordination with the Islamic development bank. Ambassador Safia Ameen inaugurated these sessions and attended their closing ceremonies.
