Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the Commonwealth States organized a training course for 15 cadres from Armenia in the field of human resources management in cooperation with the Operational Unit for Development Assistance (OUDA).

Secretary General for the Fund, Ambassador/ Safia Ibrahim Amin and Director of the Unit, Ambassador/ Sherif Sadeq participated in the inauguration of the course on Sunday, February 3, 2008.

The theoretical training course included academic lectures on job description issues, means of recruiting and choosing employees, training employees and enhancing their performance, work management and employees' health and welfare. The practical part of the programme included field visits to Ministry of State for Administrative Development, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Ministry of Trade and Industry as well as Information Technology Institute, where the delegation met with Senior Officials in these ministries and authorities as well as supervisors of human resources management.

The Armenian Delegation highly valued their meetings with the senior officials in the Egyptian ministries and authorities and their serious readiness to offer their significant expertise.

The delegation also visited the Smart Village in 6 October City, and met with its senior officials, where they expressed their desire to achieve cooperation in the field of Call Center.

The course concluded on 14 February, in presence of the Secretary General of the Fund and Director of the Unit to deliver the concluding speeches and endow the trainees with the certificates.
