First: The training sessions:

- A training session in the field of "Media" for 14 trainees from Mongolia during the period from 31/5 to 13/6/2008 at Dar Al Tahrir Printing and Publishing House – Al Gomhuria newspaper.

- A training session in the field of "Arab Culture" for 13 trainees from Armenia during the period from 31/5  to 13/6/2008 at the Arabic Language Centre, Cairo University.

-A training session in the field of "Museums Management" for 10 trainees from Kazakhstan during the period from 31/5 to 15/6/2008 at OUDA Centre.

-A training session in the field of "Diplomacy" for 14 trainees from Uzbekistan during the period from 1/6 to 16/6/2008 at the Institute for Diplomatic Studies.

-A training session in the field of "Banking and Financing" for 14 trainees from Uzbekistan during the period from 3/6 to 16/6/2008 at the Banking Institute.

- A training session in the field of "Diplomacy" for 6 trainees from Macedonia at the Institute for Diplomatic Studies.

-A training session in the field of "Media" for 15 trainees from Albania during the period from 12/6 to 27/6/2008 at Dar Al Tahrir Printing and Publishing House – Al Gomhuria newspaper.

- A training session in the field of "Banking" for 6 trainees from Macedonia during the period from 14/6 to 29/6/2008 at the Banking Institute.

-A training session in the field of "Television Direction" for 16 trainees from Moldova during the period from 18/6 to 2/7/2008 at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.

-A training session in the field of "Medicine" for 18 trainees from Armenia during the period from 21/6 to 3/7/2008 at the National Research Centre.

-A training session in the field of "Combating Drugs and Human Trafficking" for 13 trainees from Bosnia and Herzegovina during the period from 27/6 to 25/7/2008 at the Police Research Center.

-A training session in the field of "General Security and Securing Elections" for 23 trainees from Armenia during the period from 28/6 to 24/7/2008 at the Police Research Center.

The Secretary-General, Ambassador Saffia Ibrahim inaugurated these sessions and will participate in the closing ceremony at the different training places according to the scheduled periods.

Second: Other activities:

During June, the Fund Secretariat contributed to funding the travel costs of two Bosnian researchers, who were nominated to participate in a training session in the field of "Libraries science". The session is organised by Bibliotheca Alexandrina during the period from July 2nd till August 1st, 2008.
