The Spokesman said that Egypt calls upon all the Mauritanian parties to reasonably deal with the situation, resort to dialogue, respect democratic regulations and the rule of law and constitution. This is to guarantee that the constitutional institutions carry on their duties, and protect the Mauritanians' and foreigners' lives and properties. Mauritania should continue being an active member on the Arab and African arenas.
