President Mubarak ratified the Agreement signed on 15 September, 1995 regarding the establishment of the Arab Civil Aviation Authority on 25 January 1995. The Agreement came into force as of 6 February, 1996.

The President also ratified the Transit Agreement on 21/7/1977 signed by the Arab Republic of Egypt on 14 March 1977. The Agreement came into force as of 12 December 1977.
