The Egyptian position on agreements signed in the framework of the Arab Labor Organization
· On 24 May 1990, Egypt approved the amendment added to the Arab Labor Organization Constitution that was adopted by the Seventh Session of the Arab Labor Conference in Rabat in the period from 6 to 13 March 1989. The amendment came into force on 25 June 1990.
· On 13 June 1991, Egypt joined the 13th Arab Agreement on the Working Environment, signed in Benghazi, on 17 March 1981. The Agreement came into force on 29 May 1992.
· On 16 January 1991, Egypt joined the 16th Arab Agreement on the Labor’s Social Services signed in Oman on March 1983. The Agreement came into force on 1 October 1991.
· On 16 January 1991, Egypt joined the 10th Arab Agreement on paid leave, signed in Khartoum, on 12 March 1979. The Agreement came into force on 1 October 1991.
· On 16 January 1991, Egypt joined the 12th Arab Agreement on Farmers, signed in Baghdad, in 1980. The Agreement came into force on 1 October 1991.
· On 8 February 2001, Egypt joined the 19th Arab Agreement on work inspections that was adopted by the 25th Session of the Arab Labor Conference in Luxor, in the period from 2 to 9 March 1988. The Agreement came into force on 20 March 2001. |
