The Egyptian position on UN agreements in the judicial field
· The Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Nations signed an Agreement on 18 April 1972, for establishing the National Center for Social and Criminal Research. President Mubarak ratified the Agreement on 2 September 1972 and the Agreement entered into force on 18 April 1972.
· The Arab Republic of Egypt and the Legal Consultative Committee for Asia and Africa signed an Agreement on 17 January 1990, on the continuation of work in Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration. President Mubarak ratified the Agreement on 17 January 1990 which entered into force on 17 January 1990.
· The Arab Republic of Egypt joined the Treaty for “Prohibiting and Penalizing Crimes against Persons under International Protection”, including diplomatic representatives, signed in New York on 14 December 1973. The Treaty entered into force on 25 July 1986. |
