25 December 2006….. The Egyptian Consul General in Sidney, Australia, sent a message of congratulations directed from President Mubarak to the Catholic Church in Sidney. President Mubarak expressed his sincere wishes to the Egyptian Catholic community, on the occasion of Christmas. The Egyptian Consul General also sent a message of congratulations addressed by President Mubarak to the Evangelical Arab Church in Sidney, on the occasion of the Christmas, in which he expressed his cordial wishes, and hoped that God may bless Egypt with more development, prosperity, and stability. Rev. Hamdy Awad, the main Arab congregational pastor to the Arab Presbyterian Church in Merrylands, Australia, sent a greeting telegram of congratulations to President Mubarak, on the occasion of Al-Adha Feast, in which he conveyed the wishes of the Arab Presbyterian Church, and wished that God may bless Egypt and grant it more peace, development, and progress, he also hoped that the spirit of cordiality and fraternity spread amongst all Egyptians.
