9 June 2008….. Assistant Foreign Minister for the Affairs of the Americas, Ambassador Hatem Seif El Nasr delivers a message from Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit to his Dominican Counterpart. The message tackled fields of cooperation between both countries within bilateral, regional and international frameworks during his current visit to the Dominican Republic and meeting with Assistant Secretary of State and Charge d’affaires, José Manuel Trullols. Ambassador Seif El Nasr conducted intensive political consultations to promote bilateral relations and enhance joint contractual framework, and the perspectives of  both countries regarding the most significant work issues regionally and internationally, whether in the Middle East , Africa, Latin America the Caribbean and Central American states. Both sides expressed their willingness to extend relations in all fields and satisfaction from the prosperity witnessed. The consultations also stressed on investment, agricultural cooperation and tourism. Ambassador Seif El Nasr visited the Dominican Republic second in his tour, assigned to him by the Foreign Minister. The tour will include five countries in Central America and the Caribbean. The tour aims at promoting relations and activating senior exchanged visits between Egypt, Central America and the Caribbean. The tour started with visiting Cuba, Dominican Republic, followed by Costa Rica, and Salvador and was concluded by visiting Guatemala.
