Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs and Organization of American States, Ambassador Seif El Nasr received Perry Camak senior aide to Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph Biden.

Ambassador Seif El Nasr stated that the meeting focused on 3 main issues: Egyptian – US bilateral relations, and both the Iraqi and Palestinian issues within the framework of the current Egyptian – US contacts to prepare for the International Peace Conference. The Assistant Foreign Minister noted that Camak affirmed on Senator Biden’s gratitude for the efforts Egypt exerts to establish peace in the Middle East, referring in this regard to the appreciation of Senator Biden and the leaders of the US Senate for President Mubarak.
