23 May 2007… The 3rd political consultative meeting between Egypt and Peru will be held on May 28th, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry. The Egyptian side will be headed by Assistant Foreign Minister for the Americas and OAS Affairs, Ambassador Hatem Seif El-Nasr, while the Peruvian side will be headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Peru. The meeting agenda is scheduled to include consultations concerning the bilateral political relations and the international issues of common interest, as well as the means to support the commercial relations between both countries, in addition to exchanging views and coordinating on the issues presented to the UN Security Council in view of Peru's membership in the Council. The Peruvian Deputy Foreign Minister is expected to meet with the Egyptian Businessmen Association to discuss the means of opening markets for Egyptian exports in Peru, and will also meet with officials from the Foreign Relations Committee at the Egypt Parliament.
