22 May 2008…

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism organized a touristic convoy to Abu Dhabi during the period from 3 to 6 May 2008. The convoy was headed by Chairman of the Tourism Activation Authority Amro El Ezaby. This visit aimed at shedding light on the development of Egyptian tourism, whether in the new touristic projects or the development and modernization processes. The convoy also aimed at highlighting the various facilities Egypt offers to the tourists and Arab and Emirati tourists in particular in regards to the entry procedures or accommodation, as well as the enormous Egyptian touristic potentials and the diversity of touristic activities; cultural, recreational, therapeutic, conferences and exhibitions tourism.

The convoy also explained the touristic investment preferential advantages, given to individuals seeking the purchase of real estates for long or frequent accommodation, or to the enterprises to benefit from the facilities offered by the Egyptian Government to the investors in the tourism sector.

Noteworthy is that this visit comes within the framework of a series of convoys to several Arab countries (Libya, Syria, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia) to promote Egyptian tourism in preparation for the summer season.
