Egypt's Ambassador to Switzerland Ambassador Nihad Zekry inaugurated the Ancient Egyptian artefacts arts exhibition at Martigny in Switzerland .The inauguration ceremony was attended by Switzerland's first lady and a number of important Swiss figures in the field of Museums and Egyptology. The Pierre Gianadda Swiss foundation organised the exhibition entitled "Sacrifices for Egypt's Gods "in cooperation with the Metropolitican museum in New York during the period from17 March to 8 June 2008. The Museum includes 60 pharonic artefacts from 14 museums worldwide foremost of which is the Metropolitican Museum and the national Museum in Athens , the Louvre and the British museum , in addition to four important pieces from the museum of ancient Egyptian antiquities among Tutankhamen's collection .

Egypt also participated in the week organised by the Francophone Organisation in Cyprus , where two Egyptian films were screened " Too Young to Love " "Sakhira Ala El Hob" and "Hysteria", The two films were attended by a large number of audiences . The embassy participated in a celebration on 20th March which involved offering various kinds of foods and drinks of Francophone countries on a table which included Egyptian food and drinks . |
