8 October 2007….. Egypt participated through Aswan Troupe for Folkloric Art, at the main celebration of the second Ethiopian millennium, according to the Ethiopian chronology; which has been used since a very long time. The Troupe presented its fabulous artistic shows at "Hagir Fikir Theater" and "Ethiopian National Theatre", during the period from 11 till 19 September 2007. The shows were highly praised by Ethiopian officials and audience. The event witnessed major media coverage from the Ethiopian press and media, which praised all the significant shows of the Egyptian Troupe. Noteworthy, that the visit of the Egyptian Troupe coincide with the 80th anniversary for the establishment of the Egyptian-Ethiopian diplomatic relations.
