17 December 2007….. Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, Ambassador Mohamed Badr El Din Zayed met with State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Ib Petersen, during his visit to Cairo earlier this month. Both sides exchanged points of views regarding the situations in the Arab region, particularly the Palestinian issue, in light of the Danish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs attending the Annapolis Conference. The meeting also tackled the presidential elections issue in Lebanon, as well as the development of the situation in Iraq, as both sides agreed on the occurrence of a slight development in Iraqi security.
