25 February 2008…. Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Fatma Al-Zahraa Etman received Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Dr. László Várkony and the accompanying delegation on February 25th, to hold the 8th session of political deliberations between the Foreign Ministries of both countries. Both sides discussed means of developing political and economic bilateral relations, particularly those related to augmenting the amount of commercial exchange, attracting investments for joint economic projects. The discussions also tackled the developments of the Middle East peace process, in addition to situations in Iraq, Lebanon and Sudan, as well as the developments related to Kosovo's declaration of independence.
