 Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak met with her Austrian counterpart Mrs. Margret Fischer, Mrs Gertraud Auer Secretary General of the Bruno Kreisky Forum , Mrs. Eveline Messner Deputy chairman  of the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR), and Mrs. Irene Freudenschuss Reich,Director General of Cooperation for Development department at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs , and Mrs.  Lilly Sucharpia Head of the Austrian national Committee of the United Nations Development Fund for women UNIFEM participated in the meeting.

The meeting tackled enhancing development means between Egypt and Austria in the following fields:

Improving and empowering  women and taking care of and protecting children

Promoting dialogue between civilizations and cultures by establishing cooperation between the Library of Alexandria and Bruno Kreisky Forum.

Cooperating in the field of Peace studies and conflict resolution between the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR) and the peace studies institute  affiliated to Suzanne Mubarak's Women's International Peace Movement.
