Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs and African Union Affairs participates in the Ministerial meeting on the AU government

 As a representative of the Foreign Minister, Ambassador Shamel Nasser Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs and African Union‘s Affairs , participated in the Ministerial meeting that  discussed the formation of an AU government. The meeting held in ACCRA was headed by Foreign Minister of Ghana (current chair of the African Union), and witnessed the participation of Ethiopia, Gabon, Libya, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, Cameron and Botswana.

The meeting's Agenda included several issues such as discussing the concept of an AU government, and the relationship between the AU government and African national governments, and regional blocs, in addition to charting a roadmap for the establishment of an AU government.

 Ambassador Nasser is expected to continue his African tour with visits to Togo and Cote D'ivoire , where he will convey a message on means of promoting bilateral relations , and exchange viewpoints on several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
